Kantrovitz & Assoc. P.C. has leased 2,000 square feet at Strawberry Hill Corporate Center at 289 Great Road in Acton and will relocate from 1 State St. in Boston.

Avison Young’s Jack Kerrigan, Bill Sullivan and Anne Flanagan represented the firm and landlord Campanelli of Braintree in the transaction.

Campanelli has signed more than 30,000 square feet in new and expansion leases since purchasing the building in February 2014. It also invested in a capital improvement program including a new front entrance and energy management system, while adding a fitness center, 4,000 square feet of collaborative workspace run by WorkPlace and a new LeanBox vending area.

The suburban location will offer the firm’s members shorter commutes while reducing real estate costs by half in an era of spiraling rents in downtown Boston, Flanagan said in a statement. The law firm specializes in workers’ compensation cases.

The 4-story Strawberry Hill office complex currently has office suites up to 11,833 square feet available. Current tenants include Harsip & Stuart Inc., Automotive Networks Corp. and Westchester Management.
