DSF Group will rebrand a Marlborough apartment complex following a $74 million acquisition.

The Boston-based multifamily developer acquired the 225-unit Talia apartments on Ames Street from Fairfield Residential. The purchase price equates to nearly $329,000 per unit.

In a statement, DSF Group President Josh Solomon said the company will implement its Halstead brand and amenity program at the Marlborough property, which is located off Route 20 near the Interstate 495 interchange.

CBRE Capital Markets provided $39.7 million in mortgage financing, according to a Middlesex County Registry of Deeds filing.

CBRE’s Simon Butler, Biria St. John, John McLaughlin and Brian Bowler represented Fairfield Residential, which was the original developer.

“The acquisition provides the buyer an opportunity to acquire a well located community with proximity to walkable retail, employment, and easy highway access, allowing for long-term rent growth,” Butler said in a statement.
