Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institution (MERSI) will relocate its headquarters from Cambridge to 1440 Main St. in Waltham.

MERSI leased 17,500 square feet in the building owned by Crosspoint Assoc., an expansion from the 13,000 square feet it previously occupied at 5 Cambridge Center. In June, the institution will occupy a portion of the second floor of the two-building complex totaling 67,000 square feet.
