Nauset Construction recently completed a new addition and renovation at the Heath School, a K-8 facility in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Brookline.

Although the school was fully operational during most of the construction, the $6.5 million project was completed on time and within budget.

The addition is a combination of one and-two story wings that house five new classrooms, a science lab, and a multi-purpose room which is outfitted with athletic flooring. The renovations involved the replacement and expansion of the existing kitchen and cafeteria dining space. The library was also expanded to facilitate the growing student population and added services, while the auditorium was upgraded to conform to the American Disabilities Act.
