Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Robert Paul Properties has bought a fellow BHHS affiliate serving the South Coast.

The Osterville-based brokerage, itself a division of Natick-based Commonwealth Realty Group, picked up BHHS Mel Antonio Real Estate for an undisclosed sum.

The latter brokerage had a single office in New Bedford served the entire South Coast. Prior to the acquisition, its website had listed 28 agents, a marketing coordinator, a training coordinator, five associate brokers and a managing broker in addition to Mel Antonio, the company’s founder.

“We are thrilled to welcome the talented team of professionals from Mel Antonio Real Estate into the Robert Paul Properties family. Our shared commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and our mutual passion for the industry will undoubtedly lead to even greater success as we move forward together,” BHHS Robert Paul President Emily Clark said in a statement.

The 24-year-old BHHS Mel Antino office joins Robert Paul’s 12-agent, two-broker Marion office on the South Coast as the Cape Cod-focused brokerage expands its footprint.

“Mel and his team have built a strong reputation for providing their clients with the highest quality of service, experience, and support,” George Patsio, managing partner of Commonwealth Realty Group, said in a statement. “Joining these two highly reputable companies marks a significant milestone for both organizations and represents our clear commitment to providing unparalleled customer service, and resources to our valued clients.”
