Midwood Investment and Development of New York has acquired One Milk St. in Boston from the International Institute of New England for $18.2 million.

The six-story, a 36,531-square-foot mixed-use property at the corner of Washington and Milk streets includes 5,000 square feet of offices and classrooms on the upper levels and retail space on the lower floors.

Boston-based JLL’s Frank Petz, Jessica Hughes and Matthew Sherry represented the International Institute in the sale.

“The sale of One Milk further underscores the insatiable demand for well-located assets in Boston,” Petz said in a statement. “The current and pending vacancy was attractive to investors, and pricing was driven to record highs given the large retail component.”
