A nonprofit that received a $100,000 grant from the philanthropic arm of Cummings Properties in 2013 is one of the Woburn developer’s newest tenants.

Change is Simple, which partners with Boston-area schools on delivering STEM curriculum, has expanded into 3,600 square feet at 100 Cummings Center in Beverly. The space will house its offices and virtual teaching operations.

Co-founded in 2011 by Lauren and Patrick Belmonte, the nonprofit provides STEM curriculum on environmental, sustainability and climate education at elementary and middle schools. The organization has seven full-time staff and a team of college interns working in the new location which includes multiple video studios for virtual lessons.

In 2013, the Cummings Foundation provided Change is Simple with a $100,000 grant to expand its program district-wide in the Woburn and Beverly school systems.

Cummings Properties business development officer Michelle Paul represented the firm in its lease negotiations with Change is Simple.
