180 Everett

Burgess Properties Inc. announced the sale of both 180 Everett Ave. and 115 Carter St. in Chelsea to North River Co. LLC, an affiliated entity of Waterfront New York.

The 7,500-square-foot property at 180 Everett Ave. housed the former Fusion Café restaurant. The 2-story retail and office building sold for $1.2 million.

The property at 115 Carter St. sold for $5.825 million. The 33,000-square-foot single-story warehouse/manufacturing building was the 65-year long-term home of Driscoll Warehouse. The company offered the property for sale in conjunction with a wind-down of their business operations.

North River Co. owns 190 Everett Ave., which sits between the two newly acquired properties. 190 Everett Ave. is the Boston-area home of Ardsley, New York-based Acorda Therapeutics Biotechnology Co.

Phil Burgess, president of Burgess Properties, was the sole broker in the 115 Carter St. transaction and also represented the buyer in the 180 Everett Ave. sale.
