Norton Property Adds 11K Solar Modules

Developer Marcus Partners has completed installation of the largest rooftop solar array built under the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target program.

Located at 192 Mansfield in Norton, the installation includes nearly 11,000 JinkoSolar modules and power electric inverters which will generate 4.5 million kilowatt hours of clean renewable energy annually. Acquired in 2018, 192 Mansfield contains 350,000 square feet of industrial space.

Waltham-based ECA Solar designed and installed the system, which generates clean energy equivalent to removal of 750 cars from the roads annually.

Marcus Partners has completed 1 million square feet of LEED-certified developments including 900 Winter St., a 230,000-square-foot lab facility in Waltham, and plans multiple solar installations in the next year.
