The owners of the 1.2 million-square-foot One Post Office Square are partnering with a newly-formed provider of “concierge” health care services on a new clinic at office tower, and will pay for memberships for tenants’ employees.
Eden Health will open a clinic in the Financial District tower, which is undergoing a $300 million renovation and expansion. The ownership team announced today it will sponsor 4,500 memberships for tenants of the building for three years.
“By adding Eden Health’s premium health care services to our amenity package, we’re taking our on-demand, concierge-style tenant experience to the next level and setting the new standard for employee-centric workplaces,” Ben Heller, executive managing director for leasing agent JLL, said in a statement.
The four-year-old New York-based health care startup has received $100 million in venture capital funding to support the growth of its business model, including in-person clinic services and telehealth appointments. The company says its membership fee structure helps companies reduce their overall costs of employees’ health care.
One Post Office Square was completed in the 1981 and is being updated with a new glass facade, automated parking garage and outdoor terraces by Anchor Line Partners and Morgan Stanley.
As the building revamp proceeds, four tenants have signed leases and renewals totaling 185,000 square feet: law firm Sullivan & Worcester, Appleton Partners, JLL and Citi, developers said.
