Dennis L. Gikas has been hired as Berkshire Bank’s latest first vice president and regional management, responsible for staffing, sales performance, customer experience and overall productivity for 19 Berkshire branches across Central and Eastern Massachusetts, including downtown Boston. Gikas was most recently a vice president and region coach at Santander Bank.

Dawn Neher has been hired as chief financial officer at Cambridge-based global “innovation campus” operator CIC, after 24 years at New England Development, where she was most recently its chief financial officer.

Jack Vadnais has been promoted to director of FCU Investment Services, a new division at Springfield-based Freedom Credit Union. Michael Johnson has been hired as associate director of the division after nearly 15 years as at Greenfield Cooperative Bank, where he was a vice present.

John McKee has been promoted vice president of operations at Braintree-based property management and real estate firm The Peabody Cos.
Rockland Trust
Mark McGwin has been appointed first vice president and senior market manager for franchise lending at Boston-based Rockland Trust. McGwin will develop and lead a multi-brand finance unit supporting franchises in the Northeast and be based in Rockland’s Providence, Rhode Island office. McGwin was most recently a senior vice president responsible for franchise lending at United Bank.
Tighe & Bond
Doug Cheppo has been hired as Westfield-based engineering and environmental consulting firm Tighe & Bond’s new chief financial officer. Cheppo was previously chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Thorpe Plant Maintenance and Engineering. Rob Smedberg has joined Tighe & Bond’s Client Sector group in the firm’s Providence office.

Newton-based The Village Bank has promoted JoAnn M. Jirichian to assistant treasurer and manager of its Nonantum branch. The bank also hired Susan Zacharer as assistant vice president and business development officer and Reilly Cavanaugh to manager of its Newton Center branch.
