Swansea-based BayCoast Mortgage Co. has hired Bruno Freire as its Community Reinvestment Area Loan Officer. Freire was formerly an assistant branch manager with Mechanics Cooperative Bank.

The company has also hired Charles Coelho as a residential mortgage loan officer.

Berkshire Bank

Boston-based Berkshire Bank hired three executives for its business banking team:

  • Scott Vickery, a former senior vice president at Webster Bank, joins the team as a senior vice president and team leader focused on the Boston metro area.
  • Lance Reagan, formerly a vice president and senior relationship manager at Webster Bank, will join the team as a vice president and senior business banking relationship manager.
  • Eduard Radzinsky, formerly a vice president in Webster Bank’s business banking division, joins the team as a vice president and senior business banking relationship manager.

Medway-based Charles River Bank announced that Catrina M. Lopes has been promoted to assistant controller.

Waltham-based commercial real estate firm Dakota Partners has promoted Jeremy Vieira has been promoted to development director.

The DSF Group 

Boston-based commercial real estate firm The DSF Group co-founder and President Josh Solomon has been selected as the 2021 recipient of Jewish National Fund-USA’s Tree of Life Award for his philanthropic contributions to the New England community.

Greylock Federal Credit Union

Pittsfield-based Greylock Federal Credit Union announced that its board of directors has appointed Bryan E. House to the board’s volunteer supervisory committee.

NeighborWorks Housing Solutions

Noelle Humphries, associate real estate development director for Brockton-based NeighborWorks Housing Solutions, completed the 2020-2021 Community Development Mentoring Program, which was co-sponsored by the Mel King Institute for Community Building, the Massachusetts Association of Community Development Corporations (MACDC) and the Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA). Humphries finished the nine-month program as a mentor focused on real estate development earlier this spring.

Peabody Properties

Braintree-based Peabody Properties announced that Braintree Village Apartments property manager Heather Crane received her Accredited Residential Manager certification through the Boston Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management.

Amesbury-based The Provident Bank, now known as BankProv, has appointed Joseph Mancini as executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Reading Cooperative Bank has hired five:

Sherin and Lodgen 

Boston-based law firm Sherin and Lodgen announced Jonathan F. X. O’Brien has been hired as a partner in its business law and real estate departments.

Standard Communities

Boston-based commercial real estate firm Standard Communities has hired Sean Carpenter as director of Northeast development, a new position. Carpenter joins Standard from AHSC Inc., a Braintree-based nonprofit affordable housing developer.

VHB

Watertown-based planning and engineering firm VHB has hired Phil Goff as a senior active transportation planner focusing on New England markets. Goff is a former board member for the Bike-Walk Alliance of NH and Cambridge-based LivableStreets Alliance.

The Village Bank

Newton-based The Village Bank has promoted Corey Rouleau to vice president and treasurer and Elijah Hopkin to Waban branch manager. The bank also hired Valdet Abazi as Newton Centre branch manager. Abazi was previously an assistant branch manager for East Boston Savings Bank.
