BayCoast Bank

Swansea-based BayCoast Bank has hired Sylvia Mburu to manage its Cranston, Rhode Island branch.

The bank also announced the promotion of Ashley Silva to merchant underwriting and risk officer.

BPDA

The Boston Industrial Development Financing Authority, part of the Boston Planning & Development Authority, announced Alisa R. Drayton had been appointed to its board of directors.

Brookline Bank

Brookline Bank’s parent company, Brookline Bancorp, announced several changes to the company’s leadership structure. Brookline Bancorp President & CEO Paul Perrault will become the company’s chairman, replacing Joseph Slotnik, who was chairman for the past 10 years. Slotnik will remain on the board as lead director. General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer Michael McCurdy and Chief Financial and Strategy Officer Carl Carlson have been elevated as joint co-presidents. McCurdy will also assume the role of chief operating officer overseeing Brookline Bank and Bank Rhode Island, both of which are owned by Brookline Bancorp.

Both – as well as Brookline Bancorp’s Chief Credit Officer, Robert Rose – will continue to report to Perrault who will remain as chief executive officer of Brookline Bancorp.

The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod

Hyannis-based The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod has named Joni Traficante as first vice president and commercial relationship manager.

Hancock Assoc.

Danvers-based engineering firm Hancock Assoc. announced senior project manager J. Dan Bremser has been named president of the Massachusetts Association of Land Surveyors and Civil Engineers.

Haverhill Bank

Haverhill Bank has hired Angelita Martinoli as vice president of human resources and Elizabeth Cronin as assistant vice president of compliance.

Hobbs Brook Real Estate

Waltham-based Hobbs Brook Real Estate has hired Joshua Hill as vice president and chief counsel. Hill was previously global lead counsel for real estate at General Electric in New York State.

McCall & Almy

Commercial brokerage McCall & Almy has hired Vince Walker as an associate in its Boston office.

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Bank announced the promotion of Tyler Bay to business banking relationship manager.

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank has hired Mark Drew as a senior vice president and chief commercial lending officer. Drew was most recently a senior vice president and senior commercial loan officer at Stoneham Bank.

North Easton Savings Bank

North Easton Savings Bank has hired James Dell’Anno as vice president and residential sales director. Dell’Anno was previously vice president of residential and consumer lending at Hingham institution for Savings.

The bank also announced the hiring of Samuel Ho as a residential loan officer. Prior to joining North Easton Savings Bank, Ho was a hardware engineer with Raytheon and EMC.

The Peabody Cos.

Braintree-based property manager and real estate firm The Peabody Cos. announced it had promoted Krystal Rodriguez to director of portfolio operations.

The company also announced it had hired Daniel Tompkins as a senior property manager. Tompkins was most recently a senior property manager in Cambridge with WinnResidential.

Pentucket Bank

Haverhill-based Pentucket Bank announced CEO and Chairman Scott Coate will retire from the former role on June 30 after having risen through the banks’ executive leadership team since 1998.

Reading Cooperative Bank

Reading Cooperative Bank has hired Manis Patel as senior commercial loan assistant, Itzama Calderon as a banking specialist I, Dilcia Echavarria as a loan servicing specialist, Katherine Tylus as a credit analyst, Daniel DiGiacomo as a marketing specialist and Debra Berube as the new manager of its Burlington branch.

Redgate

Boston-based developer Redgate has hired Leif A. Dormsjo as executive vice president and market director for the Mid-Atlantic region, and Kristi M. Dowd as a senior vice president in Boston, focused on the health care sector. Dormsjo joins Redgate after leading the infrastructure asset management practice at Louis Berger Services in Washington, DC.
