Berkshire Bank Foundation

Berkshire Bank Foundation Inc., the philanthropic arm of Berkshire Bank, announced the appointment of Thomas W. Barney to its board of trustees. Barney, a Certified Financial Planner, is a senior vice president and wealth advisor with Berkshire Bank Wealth Management, based in Lenox. Barney has spent over 19 years with Berkshire Bank, rejoining the wealth group out of retirement to work on all aspects of client relationships, including financial planning and strategy implementation.

 

Bentall Kennedy

Brian Burke has joined real estate advisors Bentall Kennedy as vice president of client relations and product development in the firm’s Boston office. Prior to joining Bentall Kennedy, Brian was vice president of institutional business development and consultant relations at Pioneer Investments in Boston where he was responsible for selling traditional fixed income, equities and alternatives.

 

Blue Hills Bank

Blue Hills Bank has added banking industry veteran Kevin F. Malone, who will serve as executive vice president and commercial banking. Malone brings more than 30 years in financial services to the Blue Hills team. He brings experience in roles as a lender within asset-based lending, acquisition finance and traditional commercial and industrial financings while also having extensive experience in credit underwriting, risk review and asset recovery. Previously, Malone was market president of Greater Boston and Rhode Island for TD Bank.

 

Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank

Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank announced that Bryan Covington has been promoted to residential mortgage loan officer in the Plymouth County area. Covington joined Cape Cod Five in May 2013; he was most recently Internet lending coordinator.

 

ERA Key Realty Services

ERA Key Realty Services in Worcester has announced the addition of Stephen O’Toole. O’Toole was previously a sales manager for AT&T and T-Mobile.

 

Middlesex 3 Coalition

The Middlesex 3 Coalition, a public-private partnership of municipal, business, educational, financial, health care and real estate leaders, voted to expand and add three seats to the current 13 member board of directors.

  • Dean LaMothe is the senior director of finance at E Ink Corp., a digital signage and electronic paper display technology company headquartered in Billerica. With over 23 years of progressive financial experience in software, technology and consumer industries, LaMothe directs financial aspects of the business including accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, and monitoring of financial performance.
  • Katie Enright is the lead engineer in Howard Stein Hudson’s Chelmsford office, which provides land development and transportation planning, permitting and engineering. With 19 years of site/civil engineering design, Enright has experience with the technical and procedural aspects of engineering projects. She is responsible for overseeing and executing the design, submittal, permitting and construction of a variety of land development projects.
  • Curt Bellavance is the town administrator in Tyngsborough, where he leads a community of nearly 12,000 residents and a budget approaching $40 million. Bellavance has been with Tyngsborough for just over two years where he has guided multiple projects.

 

Needham Bank

Brian Annese was recently hired as vice president of commercial and industrial lending at Needham Bank. Annese was formerly a senior vice president with Santander Bank and brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry to his role with Needham Bank.

 

Webster Five Cents Savings Bank

Webster Five Cents Savings Bank announced the promotion of Jane Cullen to vice president and business services manager. In addition to her current role, Cullen will now be responsible for managing and growing the business services division of the bank. Cullen and her team will be responsible for business development, enhancements to the bank’s existing business services offerings, as well as introducing new products and services. Cullen joined Webster Five in 2014 as vice president and brings 25 years of experience to her new role. Anjena Kuzdzal has been promoted to business services officer after working most recently in the retail lending department for six months. Kuzdzal joined Webster Five in 2009 as a customer service representative and became assistant branch manager in 2012. Prior to joining Webster Five, Kuzdzal worked in loan and mortgage servicing for seven years, where she developed her loan servicing skills and interest in assisting customers.
