BankGloucester announced George Koshivas and Jonathan Loring have been appointed to its board. Koshivas is CFO for Yell-O-Glow Corporation, a wholesale grocery, fruit and vegetable distributor in Everett. Loring is director of enterprise applications for Boston construction giant Suffolk.

BayCoast Mortgage Co.

Swansea-based BayCoast Mortgage Co. has hired three:

  • Michael E. Nickley as first vice president and senior loan officer. He was previously assistant vice president, mortgage loan officer with Dedham Savings Bank
  • Paul K. Faggioli as a vice president and senior loan officer. He was previously a senior loan officer with Residential Mortgage Services Inc.
  • Vincent Tirabassi as a senior loan officer. He was most recently a senior loan officer with South Shore Bank.

Berkshire Bank

Mihir A. Desai, a professor of finance at Harvard Business School and professor of law at Harvard Law School, has been named to the board of directors at Berkshire Bank and its parent company, Berkshire Hills Bancorp, effective March 10. Desai is also a research associate in the public economics and corporate finance programs at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

Berkshire also announced a hire: Stephen Morrison as a senior mortgage loan officer on the consumer lending team. Morrison was previously a physician loan specialist/medical professional mortgage loan officer at TD Bank.

Lastly, Berkshire announced Christine Flaherty, its vice president of commercial real estate, will be honored with the 2022 Professional Service Award by CREW Boston, a professional organization for women in commercial real estate.

Commercial real estate REIT Boston Properties announced Executive Vice President Bryan Koop will head a new facilities advisory committee for the Premier Hockey Federation.

Canton Co-operative Bank 

Canton Co-operative Bank announced Robert Dalo has been promoted to loan officer and closing coordinator.

Charlesgate

Boston-based real estate firm Charlesgate has promoted Tod Mikelonis to senior director of property management.

Direct Federal Credit Union 

Needham-based Direct Federal Credit Union announced that it has hired Greg Ryan as senior vice president of commercial lending. Ryan formerly held the same title at Eagle Bank.

Hancock Assoc.

Danvers engineering firm Hancock Assoc. announced Jared Johnson, a project surveyor at the firm, has now passed the State Surveyor Jurisprudence Exam and is now a registered professional land surveyor in Massachusetts.

JLL

Commercial real estate brokerage JLL has hired Zoe Benson and Lauren Hasson to senior positions in its workplace strategy group, based in Boston.

North Brookfield Savings Bank

North Brookfield Savings Bank has hired Kaz Borawski as its new chief financial officer and treasurer, with the rank of senior vice president. Borawski joins North Brookfield Savings Bank from Holyoke Credit Union, where he spent almost five years in a similar role.

Boston real estate development and brokerage firm Senné announced it has hired Timothy Saccoia as its new director of marketing. Saccoia was previously senior marketing lead at Massport.

Boston public relations firm Seven Letter, which serves several local banks and real estate development firms, has hired Scott Deitz and Meaghan Hohl as partners to lead and Christian Rodriguez, Masconny Onyechefule and Jesse Rogers to staff its new environmental, social and governance (ESG) practice in its Boston and Washington offices.
