Boston architecture firm Dyer Brown said it has hired Paul Koch as the new head of its retail design practice. Koch was formerly studio director for design firm Nelson and corporate architect and senior manager of construction and store planning at Massachusetts-based apparel retailer J.Jill.

ERA Key Realty Services 

Northbridge-based residential brokerage ERA Key Realty Services announced it had hired Kelly Brown to manage its Worcester office. Brown previously held a similar position with Coldwell Banker, overseeing its Chelmsford office.

Springfield-based Freedom Credit Union has hired Michael Laga as a loan originator in its Enfield, Connecticut office.

Massachusetts Housing Investment Corp.

The Massachusetts Housing Investment Corp. said it had hired John-Paul Vachon as deputy director of equity, where he’ll lead “product development efforts that focus on meeting previously unmet financing needs in the community development marketplace.” Vachon was previously vice president of community development lending and investment at KeyBank Real Estate Capital.

Merrimack Valley Credit Union

Lawrence-based Merrimack Valley Credit Union said it has promoted four to the newly created position of regional sales and service manager: Julie Brady, Niki Charalambous, Kevin Zipps and Jim Kruskall.

Rockland Trust Co.

Hanover-based Rockland Trust Co. said it hired Citizens Bank’s Greater Boston business market manager, Nikolin Gace, as a new vice president and commercial loan officer in its Danvers office.
