Real estate firm Realogy plans to roll out a new, mobile-optimized customer relationship management system and app for its 300,000 agents nationwide, which the company says will help agents collaborate better with their clients.
The company is piloting the software, which it calls “the Productivity Hub,” with agents at its Coldwell Banker brand, before rolling it out to agents at its five other brands like ERA Realty and Century 21 later this year.
Ultimately, the technology update will include new transaction and lead management software, analytics and reporting software and new brand and brokerage consumer websites and apps, the company said in an announcement this morning.
“The Productivity Hub is the next evolution of offerings from Realogy. It is a powerful ecosystem for all of our brokers and agents, one filled with products that we believe are the best in the industry,” Realogy Executive Vice President Simon Chen said in a statement. “We know that real estate agents and brokers don’t want to be restricted by technology that is built through closed architecture and dictates what tools they must conform to. This is why our open platform will provide our affiliates with the flexibility to leverage Realogy’s offerings in combination with other best of breed products and tools provided by our integration partners.”
The Productivtiy Hub software will offer an open ecosystem that will let agents, teams and brokers plug in other software they may already use for other parts of their business. The software will also include a “collaborative search” function that enables agents to work closely with buyers on their online search, providing them insight into their clients’ activity through interactive collections where agents and consumers can collaborate and work together in real-time. The software’s listings database will include residential sale properties, commercial properties and rentals, supplemented with Realogy’s internal data.
