Rockland Trust has opened its third retail branch in the Worcester as part of its ongoing expansion in Central Massachusetts.

The new branch at 633 Park Ave. is Rockland Trust’s seventh retail branch location in Worcester County. The bank also has a commercial lending and investment management office on 100 Front Street in Worcester. The bank will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony later this month.

“At Rockland Trust, we’re driven by the relationships we create within the communities we serve,” Robert Cozzone, chief operating officer at Rockland Trust, said in a statement. “Since opening our Front Street office in 2018, we have felt embraced by the Worcester community and inspired by the city’s economic growth, cultural vibrancy, and connectedness. We are excited to welcome existing and new customers to our Park Ave branch, and look forward to continuing to deepen our retail presence in Worcester County in 2022.”

The bank has promoted Brandon Le to branch manager of the Park Avenue location. Le will lead a team of relationship bankers to assist with everyday transactions, in-branch and digital banking technology, and more complex financial services.

“Our team is excited to be part of Rockland Trust’s continued growth in Worcester,” Le said in the statement. “I am proud to call Worcester my home, and I’m equally proud that our Park Ave team is reflective of the community we serve and well prepared to help individuals, families, and businesses with our relationship-oriented banking services.”

The branch at 633 Park Ave offers ATMs with live teller service, foreign currency and exchange, a dedicated business banking officer, a mortgage loan officer and an investment management financial consultant.

The Rockland Trust Charitable Foundation provided two $5,000 grants to Worcester Children’s Chorus and Legendary Legacies, and in 2021, the bank and its charitable foundation have donated over $165,000 to 44 nonprofit organizations in Worcester County.

Rockland Trust opened a Shrewsbury branch earlier this year and has filed plans with the Massachusetts Division of Banks for a location in Westborough.
