Roseland Begins Worcester Multifamily Project

Roseland Residential Trust has broken ground on the first 237-unit phase of a multifamily project at City Square, a mixed-use development in downtown Worcester.

The combined project will include 365 apartments as part of a master-planned development including a hotel, public parking garage and retail space.

Amenities will include an outdoor swimming pool, clubroom, lounge area, game room and 10,000 square feet of retail space at 145 Front St. Completion is projected for the third quarter of 2017.

Roseland is developer of Portside at East Pier, an East Boston project that contains 181 apartments and 296 more under construction, and The Chase II at Overlook Ridge, a 292-unit phase under construction the Overlook Ridge complex in Revere.

Edison, New Jersey-based Roseland is a subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corp.
