The new operator of a seaplane service from Boston to Manhattan is partnering with the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport on discounted room rates and quick check-in service.
Tailwind Air’s new seaplane shuttle delivers passengers from Boston’s Seaport District to Manhattan’s New York Skyport in 75 minutes.
In a new partnership announced today, Tailwind Air passengers will receive preferential rates on bookings at the 1,054-room Omni hotel and an accelerated check-in process that enables passengers to arrive at the Fan Pier departure lounge just 10 minutes before a flight.
Tailwind Air has four daily flights from Boston to New York on weekdays and Sundays, with one-way fares starting at $395. The service on eight-seat Cessna Grand Caravans EX seaplanes began in July, two months before the opening of the new Omni hotel.
