MassMutual’s investment arm, Barings, is closing its office in Springfield’s Tower Square, and will be replaced by an insurance company.

Wellfleet, an insurance company founded in Springfield and owned by Berkshire Hathaway, is taking space on the 10th, 11th and 12th floors, MassLive reports.

The company is expanding its Springfield presence from 150 to 300 staff.
