A Norwood medical building anchored by Steward Health Care has been sold for $23.5 million.
An affiliate of New York-based Thor Equities acquired the 92,400-square-foot Norwood Medical Center at 825 Washington St. from Grander Capital Partners.
The complex is the primary medical office and outpatient service clinic for adjacent Steward Norwood Hospital.
Newmark Knight Frank’s Boston-based capital markets team represented the seller.
“Medical office properties in Greater Boston, especially those with hospital tenancy and on-campus locations, stand to outperform the commercial real estate market throughout all economic cycles,” Newmark Managing Director Michael Greeley said in a statement.
