Three figures in the local commercial real estate scene and one local banker were honored this week as part of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 class of “Ten Outstanding Young Leaders” awardees.

The award recognizes a recipient’s “professional, personal, cultural and civic commitments to advance their community, organization and region,” the Chamber’s description reads.

The awardees included: Brian Awe, president of developer The Fallon Co.; Tony Richards, vice president of equitable business development at MassHousing; Carl Rodrigues, CEO of the Harvard Allston Land Co. in charge of redeveloping Harvard University’s massive Allston holdings; and Silicon Valley Bank’s Boston-based Vice President of Startup Banking Chareeda Rustanavibul.

“These young leaders represent the future of commerce for our region – they continue to elevate their industries and communities with innovation and resilience. As we celebrate the contributions of the TOYL honorees, I am grateful for their vision, action, and impact that leads our Commonwealth forward,” Chamber President and CEO James E. Rooney said in a statement.
