Boston-based Tocci Building Cos. announced that Arash “Ari” Arbabi has joined the company as a project controls manager.

In his new role, Arbabi will develop and manage complex project schedules, as well as assist Tocci’s estimating and management teams. Arbabi will also work to expand Tocci’s 4D scheduling practice through the use of Synchro, work closely with contractors and stakeholders to integrate disparate project variables and provide consistent performance metrics to greatly improve project efficiency and reduce risk. He will begin working on Tocci’s Boston hospital program management project, where he will oversee the schedule of ongoing construction, design and operations tasks.

Prior to joining Tocci, Arbabi worked at Jay Cashman Inc. as a project planner and scheduler. He is an active member of the Construction Management Association of America and the American Society of Civil Engineers.
