A cluster of properties on Main Street in Wakefield has been purchased and is set for redevelopment.

Shelter Development of Baltimore, Maryland bought 338 Main St., as well as five adjacent two-family residential properties for 2.8 million.

The site is being redeveloped into approximately 90 units of assisted living.

Fraen Corp. of Reading was the seller. David Giller of Boston-based Mansard CRE brokered the deal.
