Boston has been ranked the 10th best city for Realtors in a study by WalletHub.

The study, aimed at determining which cities are “most conducive to a healthy career as a realtor,” measured 13 distinct metrics, including sales per agent, annual median wage for agents and housing market health index.

Boston was given a total score of 49.82, just under eight points below the No. 1 city, Denver, with 57.7. It was virtually tied with No. 11, Grand Rapids, Michigan, with a difference of only .01.

Among individual metrics, Boston was given the following rankings, with 1 being the top spot and 75 the average:

  • 16th in annual median wage for real-estate agents
  • 21st in employment attractiveness
  • 31st in housing-market health index
  • 16th for days on market
  • 26th in real-estate employment growth
  • 65th in average ratio of home sale price to home list price
  • 18th for median home price
