10_Post_Office_SquareA joint venture of Boston-based Synergy Investments and GreenOak Capital has acquired 10 Post Office Square, a 13-story office building in downtown Boston, for $143 million.

The building consists of 445,000 square feet of office space in two connected mid-rise towers overlooking Norman B. Leventhal Park and a 1,400-space underground parking garage. Boston Private Financial Holdings’ headquarters is anchor tenant of the building, which is 82-percent leased.

Cushman and Wakefield’s Robert Griffin, Edward Maher and Matt Pullen represented seller Soundport Capital and procured the buyer.

"10 Post Office Square has a distinctive history, well recognized as one of Boston’s finest office restorations and boasting more than $17 million in capital improvements in the last seven years," Cushman & Wakefield Vice Chairman Edward Maher said in a statement.
