Co-developer Skanska announced Monday that it signed a $126-million construction contract for the Watermark Seaport luxury apartment complex in Boston’s Seaport District.
Watermark Seaport LLC, a joint venture of Skanska USA Commercial Development and Twining Properties of New York, is developing the 28,000-square-foot complex which will include a pair of six- and 17-story buildings totaling 346 rental units.
Construction is expected to be complete in March 2016, Skanska said. The cost of the contract will be included in the Stockholm-based developer’s first-quarter financials.
Skanska and Twining Properties acquired the parcel on Seaport Boulevard for $18.6 million in March 2012.
