CPA firm KAF Financial Group has announced Jeffrey Alvanas, CPA, of Quincy has been named an audit senior in the practice’s Braintree headquarters.

As a senior accountant, Alvanas will be responsible for planning, organizing and reviewing all assigned engagements, including the coordination and oversight of fieldwork and the preparation of financial statements and other related reports.

Alvanas brings more than three years of experience in the public accounting industry to his post. Prior to joining KAF Financial Group he was employed at Braver P.C. in Providence, R.I., as a senior accountant.

A member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, Alvanas received both his bachelor’s degree in accounting and MBA from Providence College.  He became a licensed CPA in July.
