Burlington-based Erland Construction has finished the 13,850-square-foot Jafari Library & Science Center at the Fenn School in Concord.
Erland took down the existing Robb Hall to building the two-story Jafari Library & Science Center. The library occupies the entire first floor, and the second floor features four science laboratories and support spaces. The new structure is tied into Thompson Hall and the School House, acting as a connector for the two existing buildings. Erland also performed life safety upgrades to the School House and exterior site improvements.
Imai Keller Moore Architects of Watertown and Zaurie Zimmerman Associates of Lexington worked with Erland to complete the project in 17 months.
