TIAA-CREF has bought an office building in Boston’s Seaport District from DivcoWest for $60.2 million.
The eight-story, 150,363-square-foot office building is located alongside the Fort Point Channel at 51 Sleeper St. It is 100 percent leased to tenants including government entities, architects and technology firms.
HFF’s Coleman Benedict and Ben Sayles exclusively represented the seller and procured the buyer.
"51 Sleeper is an irreplaceable asset in a tremendous location," Benedict said in a statement. "TIAA-CREF will enjoy terrific performance from this asset as the significant wave of development will only enhance the Seaport District by bringing businesses, residents, and visitors to the area."
