Sullivan Tire and Auto Service is scheduled to open its new 200,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center today in Taunton’s Myles Standish Industrial Park.

The new 30-bay facility will employ 100 people and provide storage for over 140,000 tires. It will enable Sullivan Tire’s continued expansion throughout New England by consolidating facilities in West Bridgewater and Brockton. A ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the property is planned Tuesday afternoon.

“Taunton was a perfect fit for our new distribution center, and the city has been wonderful to work with in seeing the project through,” Paul Sullivan, vice president of marketing, said in a statement.

Myles Standish Industrial Park is managed by the Taunton Development Corp. and contains 5.8 million square feet of space on 809 acres.

Sullivan Tire operates 67 auto repair locations and 15 commercial truck tire centers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Maine.
