Blue Hills Bank makes a large donation to celebrate its hometown’s 150-year anniversary, an Eagle Scout is rewarded by a local bank and realtors pitch in to help build a Habitat home in Duxbury.

Blue Hills Bank made a $100,000 donation in support of Hyde Park’s 150-year anniversary.

 

Charles River Bank

Charles River Bank presented a donation check of $200 to Jack Thompson in support of his Eagle Scout project to build a kenneling system for the Mendon Police Department’s K-9, Brady.

 

Cornerstone Bank

Worcester-based Cornerstone Bank’s Charitable Donations Committee donated $1,000 to the Kennedy-Donovan Center to help build a new outdoor therapeutic classroom for the center’s early intervention program.

 

Main Street Bank

Fitchburg-based Main Street Bank Charitable Foundation awarded United Way of North Central Massachusetts a $5,000 grant for the Footsteps2Brilliance program, an early childhood literacy initiative.

 

MutualOne Bank

Framingham-based MutualOne Charitable Foundation awarded $5,000 to Friends of Natick Senior Center to fund future “life enrichment” programs for seniors. Previous events have included free lunch and movie outings.

 

RTN

RTN members and staff collected and donated more than 100 items of clothing and blankets through its participation in the Massachusetts Cooperative Credit Union Association’s annual Clothing and Blanket Drive. The campaign was held throughout January in every branch of the Waltham-based institution. The donation included 50 blankets for infants and children that were knitted by Blankets for Kids volunteers from the Amesbury Senior Community Center.

 

South Shore Realtor Association

South Shore Realtor Association volunteered with South Shore Habitat for Humanity to build a home in Duxbury. The association has additional volunteer build days scheduled and recently secured a $1,000 grant through the Massachusetts Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation for South Shore Habitat.
