A 17-unit apartment complex at 17 Bow St. in Somerville’s Union Square has changed hands.
The property, a former church converted into apartments in 1990, sold to Heath Properties for $3.4 million.
NAI Hunneman Executive Vice President and Principal Robert Tito Sr. and Sales Associate Dan McGee represented the seller, Abbey Place Realty Trust. They also procured Heath Properties in the transaction. The sale marks the second time Tito has brokered the property, having also sold it previously in 1995, the company said.
"Over the past 18 months, the owners made significant capital improvements to the building and the parking area," said Tito. "The building renovations combined with the potential for a significant return on investment via a possible condo conversion made 17 Bow Street very attractive to the investment community."
