A Boston-based project management firm that attained women-owned business status in 2018 has been acquired by Avison Young as it expands its life science services.
Dowling Houy’s Jeanne MacLellan joins Avison Young as a principal following the acquisition. The firm was founded in 2010 by Richard Dowling and Charles Houy, and acquired by MacLellan in 2015.
Associate Director Amanda Randall Capobianco and Senior Project Managers Angela Ciramella and Jennifer Perrault also joined Avison Young as part of the transaction. The firm works with clients in the life sciences, health care, higher education and nonprofit sectors.
“The growing demand of the life science industry is booming in New England and we’re excited to expand our life science project management capabilities with a broader, unified platform to meet that rising demand,” Avison Young Principal Patrick Schmidt said in a statement.
