Swansea-based BayCoast Bank has opened its first Norfolk County branch at 8 Foxborough Blvd. in Foxborough.

Among those attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 8 were Carl W. Taber, BayCoast Bank’s executive vice president and chief lending officer; Andrew Murphy, branch manager of the Foxborough location; state Sen. Paul Feeney (D-Foxborough); and state Rep. F. Jay Barrows (R-Mansfield).

Foxborough’s Assistant Town Manager Michael Johns also attended, as did members of the Tri-Town Chamber of Commerce, including Executive Director Kara Griffin.

The new branch marks the 21st BayCoast branch serving the South Coast region of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The mutual bank also has three loan offices.

The new office features two drive-up ITMs (Interactive Teller Machines) that can also be used as ATMs. The ITM combines the convenience of an ATM with the personal service of a branch by allowing customers to see and speak with a bank employee remotely through a video monitor during extended hours. The branch offers night depository, medallion services and notary services by appointment and a self-serve lobby coin machine.
