Swansea-based BayCoast Bank has recently promoted three leaders in top-level positions: its chief financial officer, chief information officer and chief human resources and talent officer.

Marie Pellegrino was promoted to executive vice president and chief financial officer. She is responsible for handling the finances of the bank and its affiliates, including financial budgeting and reporting and monitoring the bank’s asset-liability position, liquidity, and balance sheet management. She joined BayCost in 2013 and has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry.

The bank also promoted Daniel J. DeCosta to executive vice president and chief information officer. DeCosta manages the day-to-day operations of the information technology, information systems and e-commerce departments. He also takes responsibility as BayCoast’s “solutions architect,” the bank said, where he designs new business processes that help expand efficiencies across the organization.

BayCoast also advanced Scott P. Lopes to executive vice president and chief human resources and talent officer and is responsible for sourcing talent and running training programs for employees based in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Nicholas M. Christ, president and CEO of BayCoast Bank, said in a statement the promotions recognize the three leaders’ experience, expertise, and dedication to the bank and its community.
