Kevin O'DonnellPittsfield’s Berkshire Bank has bolstered its wealth management team by promoting Kevin O’Donnell and Nicholas Strom-Olsen.

O’Donnell will serve as the bank’s newest assistant vice president in the Berkshire County region.

"Kevin has 13 years of experience in wealth management and will play an integral part in the continued growth of our wealth management center by assisting our customers in outlining their financial goals and developing thoughtful strategies to achieve these goals," said Berkshire Bank Wealth Management Senior Vice President Scott Schiff. "Kevin provides customized financial planning solutions to individuals and families throughout Berkshire Bank’s footprint. His areas of focus include retirement planning, education planning, investment management and insurance."

O’Donnell started with Berkshire Bank’s Trust department in April 2006 as an investment representative with previous experience as a financial advisor with Bank of America Investments, UBS Financial Services and Merrill Lynch.

Nicholas Strom-OlsenStrom-Olsen will serve as assistant vice president in Vermont.

"Nicholas has played a very large role in the success of our Vermont Wealth Management Center and assists individuals and businesses with achieving their financial goals through the financial planning process," said Schiff. "His experience as a financial planner in New England allows him to provide customized financial planning solutions to individuals and families throughout Berkshire Bank’s Vermont footprint. His areas of focus include retirement planning, education planning, investment management, and insurance."

Strom-Olsen serves the Vermont market and works out of the offices on Richville Road in Manchester Center, Vt., and on Woodstock Avenue in Rutland, Vt. He joined the Berkshire Bank Wealth Management Group in 2004 after it acquired Factory Point National Bank, where he was a financial consultant.
