Quad Technologies, a 2013 MassChallenge winner that specializes in stem cell technology, has leased 3,850 square feet of lab space at Cummings Properties’ 3 Gill St. in Woburn.

Founded in 2012, the company recently received funding to relocate from the North Shore InnoVentures at Cummings Center incubator space to its own location.

Cummings’ Properies’ Marc Knittle and Hank Amabile of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented ownership in the lease transaction.

“Woburn – and Gill Street in particular – has become a biotech mini-hub thanks to its affordability, a straightforward permitting process and its proximity to Cambridge,” Knittle said in a statement.
