Worcester Dual Fast Food Location Changes Hands For $1.7M

A combined Taco Bell and KFC location in downtown Worcester has changed owners.

Boston-based real estate manager Bernard Berkman purchased the fast food property from Lincoln Street Properties LLC for $1.745 million.

The restaurant combo is located at 463 Lincoln St. The plaza is also inhabited by major food chains such as Five Guys, Texas Roadhouse and Ruby Tuesday, along with several retail chains.

Taco Bell and KFC signed a new 20-year triple net lease in April 2015 with four five-year options. Rental escalations of 10 percent are scheduled every five years throughout the base term and option periods.

Taco Bell and KFC is operated by the franchise G.F. Enterprise LLC.

Bob Horvath of the international real estate investment company Marcus & Millichap brokered the transaction on behalf of the buyer and seller.
