Crosspoint1Jabra, a manufacturer of Bluetooth audio accessories including headsets and speakers, has signed the first lease at the Cross Point office complex in Lowell since the property was acquired by Boston-based Anchor Line Partners and Farallon Capital Management of San Francisco this year for $100 million.

Jabra will relocate its North American headquarters and more than 90 employees from Nashua, N.H. in April, Anchor Line announced. It will occupy 32,000 square feet within the 1.2-million-square-foot complex, with DBA-W Architects of Wellesley designing the new offices.

"They want to become part of the tech community of Boston, and they viewed the amenities we’re putting in and fell in love with that,” said Andrew Maher, Anchor Line’s managing director.

Cross Point was built as the Wang Laboratories headquarters in the early 1980s. After acquiring the property in August, Anchor Line began a $10-million renovation and modernization program designed to attract tech start-ups and other new tenants.

A new cafeteria will be completed Jan. 21 and a well-known restaurant chain has a tentative agreement to lease 9,000 square feet, Maher said. Construction of a fitness and gaming center will begin in February and is scheduled for completion in May.

As of Jan. 1, approximately 410,000 square feet will be available at Cross Point.

Owned by Danish audio company GN Netcom, Jabra manufactures wireless headsets, earphones and speakers.

Jones Lang LaSalle Managing Director Matt Daniels represented Anchor Line and Jabra in the transaction.
