The International Institute of New England (IINE) has leased space on Boylston Street in Boston for its new headquarters.

IINE, a nonprofit which helps immigrants and refugees integrate into American society, signed for 13,676 square feet at 2 Boylston St.

The Boston Redevelopment Authority owns the building, which is known as the China Trade Building.

Michael Grill and Hillary Brown of Fairlane Properties Inc. represented IINE; Peter Dominski, Kevin Kennedy and Suzanne Brown represented the BRA.

“With the majority of our clients and staff using public transportation, finding a location adjacent to MBTA access was crucial,” Jeffrey Thielman, president of IINE, said in a statement. “IINE looks forward to working with local organizations and residents to assist them with job training and English opportunities.”

IINE will be moving from One Milk St. The institute also has locations in Lowell and Manchester, New Hampshire.
