Venture capital firm Boston Millennia Partners has renewed its office lease at 30 Rowes Wharf in downtown Boston.
The firm, which specializes in private-equity financing for health care and life science companies, occupies 4,658 square feet in the 110,000-square-foot office building.
Avison Young’s Jack Kerrigan and Karyn McFarland represented Boston Millennia Partners in the transaction. JLL represented landlord Morgan Stanley & Co.
The vacancy rate in the 1.2-million-square-foot Greenway office market was 6.8 percent at the end of 2014, according to Avison Young research. The Greenway market has had 695,000 square feet of positive absorption over the past 10 quarters, a period in which the vacancy rate has declined from 12.4 percent.
