The mixed-use, 691-foot-tall Winthrop Center will break ground on Oct. 24 at 115 Winthrop Square, Boston. The building will have office work space, residential units, retail, dining, commercial space and public gathering space. It will be the third-tallest building in Boston’s skyline.

MP Boston developed the building for $1.35 billion and Handel Architects designed it. The building is designed to qualify for LEED Platinum certification, and the 750,000-square-foot office space will seek certification as a Passive House Pilot Project – making it the largest Passive House office building in the world.
