The Boston Planning & Development Agency did more than approve a landmark new tower over the Mass. Pike. at its March meeting Thursday – it also OK’d three projects containing a total of 402 residential units, most of which are  affordable units.

Lenox Apartments
Location: 136 Lenox St., Roxbury
Size: Renovation of 285 affordable rental units across 12 three-story buildings covering 250,470 square feet
Developer: Beacon Communities

288 Harrison Residences
Location: 
288 Harrison Ave., Chinatown
Size: 85 affordable rental units in a 6-story, 23,385-square-foot building
Developer: Beacon Communities and the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association

218-220 Old Colony Ave.
Location:
218-220 Old Colony Ave., South Boston
Size: 32 apartments, including 5 affordable units, across a 5-story, 11,620-square-foot building
