A Braintree office complex that includes the Boston Herald’s headquarters is set to be auctioned next month.

The 4.8-acre property at 100-150 Grossman Drive includes a 4-story office building totaling 126,048 square feet.

The parcels last traded for $17.2 million in 2013, when Albany Road Real Estate Partners acquired them from the Grossman Cos. of Quincy.

Located near the MBTA’s Braintree station, the buildings were originally completed in 1986 and have an assessed value of $19.3 million, according to Braintree assessors records. The Herald relocated from the Seaport District to 100 Grossman Drive in 2018.

Albany Road received a $14.7 million mortgage, which is now in default, from East Boston Savings Bank in 2018, according to a legal notice.

Paul E. Saperstein Co. of Holbrook is conducting the auction, scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 13.

The auction comes following this month’s sale of another 1980s-era office building in the south suburban market, 400 Crown Colony Drive, for $5.5 million, or $46 per square foot.
