Brookwood Real Estate Partners II LLC, an affiliate of Brookwood Financial Partners, has purchased a 163,800-square-foot office and warehouse building located in Peabody’s Centennial Park.
The building at 300 Jubilee Drive is entirely occupied by its previous owner, Boston Acoustics, and Christian Book Distributors LLC, according to a statement.
The selling price was not disclosed. The property was last assessed at $14.12 million, according to data obtained from The Warren Group, publisher of Banker & Tradesman.
"The building, which we acquired at a deep discount to replacement cost, contains high-quality office and warehouse space that can accommodate a variety of uses, including research and development, manufacturing, distribution and biotech," said Thomas N. Trkla, chairman and chief executive officer of Brookwood. "The North Shore market is currently underserved with well-located high-bay warehouse space that is easily demisable for tenants needing 20,000 square feet or more of space."
Greg Klemmer of Klemmer Associates LLC represented the seller in the transaction.
With this acquisition, affiliates of Beverly-based Brookwood own more than 1.2 million square feet of commercial, office, warehouse and research and development space in New England, including approximately 602,000 square feet in Cherry Hill Corporate Center, about seven miles from 300 Jubilee, according to a statement.
