A 107,000-square-foot building at 10 Corporate Drive in Burlington Centre has been awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
The three-story, Class A office building, owned by Multi-Employer Property Trust (MEPT), was recognized for "maximum operational efficiency with minimal environmental impact," according to a statement.
The building, which was delivered in the fourth quarter of 2009, is leased and managed by CB Richard Ellis.
"10 Corporate Drive is one of the first LEED Gold certificated buildings in the Route 128 North submarket and we’re honored to be recognized with this distinction," said Jim Crew of Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel Inc., the exclusive advisor to MEPT.
LEED certification is recognized as the premier third-party designation for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. 10 Corporate Drive was evaluated on its sustainability, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, use of recycled or renewable materials, resources and superior indoor air quality, according to a statement.
