The first of three restaurants by chef Will Gilson has begun serving up an all-day menu including breakfast pastry, salads and sandwiches at 100 North St. in the Cambridge Crossing development.

Cafe Beatrice will operate on an 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. schedule Tuesday through Sunday. Designed by RODE Architects of Boston, the cafe will include a grab-and-go area, cafe seating and an outdoor patio, along with catering service.

The cafe is the initial occupant of The Shed, an all-retail building at DivcoWest’s 4.5 million-square-foot Cambridge Crossing development.

Gilson’s Puritan & Co. plans to open the Lexington, a second-floor cocktail bar and restaurant, in early November and Geppetto, a full-service Italian restaurant, in 2021.
