Callahan Construction Managers has completed a 90-unit assisted living and memory care facility for LCB Senior Living in Hingham.

Designed by The Architectural Team of Chelsea, The Residence at Penniman Hill spans 90,000 square feet including resident apartments, an activity room, salon, cafe and bistro.

The three-building development includes a first-floor area for residents with memory impairment along with common areas and dining spaces. Assisted living residences, common areas, dining space and a commercial kitchen occupy the second and third floors.

The construction project included a geopier foundation system and structural steel framing.

“TAT’s design harmonizes with the scale and character of historic Hingham with shingled siding, a series of repeated gambrel and pitched roof elements, double-hung windows, and a copper-clad cupola reinforcing an expressive New England coastal vernacular style,” Anthony Vivirito, senior project manager at The Architectural Team, said in a statement.

The Residence at Penniman Hill is the fourth senior living project completed by Bridgewater-based Callahan Construction has completed four senior living projects for LCB Senior Living of Norwood.
